WHAT'S COMING UP

New Year New Challenges

Our new Care Home in focus is Franklin House, Oldham. Kelly has recently accepted a part time role as the Activity and Well being coordinator. This is a mixed residential and Dementia home with truly wonderful staff. Our aim over the next few months is to update and re vamp the activities programme. Keep your eye out for photos and updates.

Seated Exercise

We have collaborated with Oldham Community Leisure, Rochdale Community Catalysts and Friends for Life to provide fun seated exercise sessions for a wonderful group of adults with complex needs. Using popular music from all genres and sometimes a little fancy dress, these sessions are designed to improve flexibility, wellbeing and help reduce isolation.

If you would like to arrange a virtual exercise session for your care facility or support group, please get in touch.

We have also been commissioned to make a few videos to help our groups engage with music no matter their experience.

Help Bring Me Sunshine

Your support and contributions will enable us to reach out to the local Care Homes and Support Groups - it's not just singing, we also provide those in need with everything from soft toys to be used as Therapy Pets to Creative Care Packages for the homes to help promote cognitive and mobility skills.

We also try to show the Carers and Support Staff that look after the most in need are just as important by surprising them with treats and gifts.
